Access to Canvas has been restored.
We want to reiterate that Sierra College is not aware of any confirmed data breaches impacting our students, faculty, or staff. This remains an evolving situation and we will continue to communicate as new information becomes available.
As part of our response and ongoing commitment to protecting the security of our campus community, Sierra College has also updated the Canvas login experience to align with the Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) process already used for mySierra, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and other campus services.
As a reminder, security incidents like this one often lead to an increase in phishing attempts. Be cautious of any emails asking you to click links, reset passwords, or provide personal information.
